FAQ 1: How much time will it take to clean my carpet?

Generally, it will take approximately 20 minutes per room. This time may vary greatly with respect to the amount of furniture to be moved, how soiled the carpet is, and any necessary spot removal treatments.

FAQ 2: Won’t water damage my carpet?

Water can damage the carpet if it is not properly extracted. However, the method used by Auckland Carpet Cleaning removes 95% of the limited water with our industrial-strength vacuum. In addition, it’s the method that most carpet manufacturers would suggest.

FAQ 3: How much time will it take for my carpet to dry?

Drying time is determined by humidity levels, airflow to the room(s) cleaned, and the type of carpet. Generally speaking, turning on your air conditioning or heating system (depending on the time of year and your location) will help speed the process. Although it typically takes 2-24 hours for the carpet to dry, you may walk on it as soon as we have finished (just don’t forget to remove street shoes first to avoid re-soiling).

FAQ 4: Does cleaning my carpet makes it soil faster?

The problem is caused by residues left in the carpet which attracts the dirt. The modern methods we use rinse almost all of the cleaning agents out of the carpet so that it will not attract dirt.

FAQ 5: How much time do I have to wait to permit my children or pets on the carpet?

Right after cleaning, the carpet can be walked on with clean feet or indoor shoes; however, we recommend restricting activity on the carpet to this foot traffic until it is completely dry.

FAQ 6: Will the cleaning agents employed cause harm to my children or pets?

Auckland Carpet Cleaning basic cleaning solution is nearly the same as laundry detergent. Though it may be both family and environmentally friendly, it is always a good idea to restrict contact between the recently cleaned carpet and your children or pets.

FAQ 7: Do I have to move my furniture prior to the arrival of the crew?

We are professionally trained to move furniture and place back to its rightful area when our cleaning is finished. We do advise you to remove items off of your furnitures such as electronics, plants, lamps, and knick-knacks. Our team will move almost all furniture that can be safely moved. There are some items we will not move, including pianos, electronics, china cabinets, waterbeds, some large beds, dressers with mirrors, billiard tables, and so on.

FAQ 8: Do I need to be home while my carpets are being cleaned?

It is not a requirement you are home while your carpet is cleaned because our staff are thoroughly trained professionals you can rely on. To be able to provide the best possible service, we do recommend that someone be home before we begin cleaning to discuss any specific needs or areas of concern with regards to the care of your carpet.

FAQ 9: Is it possible that both my area rug and the carpet it sits on cleaned at the same time?

Yes. However, the area rug can’t dry over wet carpet. The area rug should be taken to a clean hard surface to dry.

FAQ 10: What to do if the spots which were cleaned reappear?

Despite the fact that most spots that are removed from carpet do not reappear, some substances in carpet backing may wick to the surface following cleaning. Should this happen, contact your local Auckland Carpet Cleaning as soon as possible. They will be able to help you resolve this concern.

FAQ 11: How do you guarantee customer satisfaction?
